Clear Correct aligners are a subtle orthodontic treatment offering amazing results
Clear Correct aligners look very similar to teeth whitening trays, however they are a form of bite correction. The aim of Clear aligners is to provide patients with straighter smiles.
Clear aligners are great for suitable patients who are not fans of bulky traditional metal braces or those who do not want to alter their diet.
What is Clear Correct?
If you’re not happy with your smile or you are suffering from a bite issue, then Correct aligners may be the perfect option for you. The aligners work by using clear aligner trays that are custom made to your smile and slowly apply pressure to your teeth to gradually move them into the desired straight teeth positions. Essentially, your set of aligners will work as invisible braces throughout the treatment time.
Clear Correct can fix a range of bite issues from crossbites, overjets, crowding, gaps between teeth, open bites, deep bite and more.
Clear Correct treatment options:
Limited 6 (six aligners to complete treatment)
Limited 12 (12 aligners to complete treatment)
Unlimited (as many aligners as necessary)
What is the Clear Correct process?
To begin your treatment journey you can visit Oracare, where we will perform an assessment of your oral health and medical history. Using this information, we will know if you are suitable for the treatment or not.
If you are a suitable patient, we will begin by taking 3D digital scans of your entire mouth which will be used in computer software to develop your custom treatment journey map. Our team will be able to customise each individual tooth movement within this software so that we can make your treatment as efficient and quick as possible.
Once both our team and you are happy with the treatment journey and projected smile results, we will send the treatment plan and 3D scans off to Clear Correct laboratory.
Your custom aligners will be fabricated and sent back to us. This is when you will come back into Oracare’s dental clinic to receive your first three sets of Clear aligners to move your teeth into the desired position.
We will ensure your aligners fit correctly and that you understand how to take care of your aligners and how long you need to wear them for.
You must continue to maintain your oral hygiene by taking out your Clear aligners for brushing and flossing twice a day. However you must wear your aligners continuously aside from cleaning and eating for optimised results.
How long are aligners worn for?
You must wear your aligners for 22 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure your treatment goes to plan. You will also have to visit OraCare every few weeks to receive your following aligner trays and so that we can make sure your treatment is going to plan.
