At Oracare we use state-of-the-art technology to provide the best treatments
Our high-quality dental technology:
The Erbium Yag Laser is used in both soft and hard tissue procedures. The Er:Yag laser works by emitting a wavelength of high energy light which can be focused on certain areas to create heat which will destroy diseased tissue and cells. The laser can also be used to remove enamel, dentin, and also composite and cement material.
The AirFlow Prophylaxis technology by EMS is an innovative technology used for hygienists to perform Guided Biofilm Therapy. This is a unique solution for caries, periodontal prevention and maintenance. The device is known to offer the highest precision, easy maintenance and compliance with the highest hygiene standards.
AirFlow Prophy offers efficient removal of biofilms, stains, young calculus and reduces the need for hand dental instruments.
O3 Disinfection Procedures
The Ozone Disinfectant is the primary mechanism for the destruction of pathogenic organisms to prevent the spread of waterborne disease. This prevents disease from spreading into the downstream environment and among people. At Oracare we utilise this system to ensure all waterborne microorganisms and biofilms are eradicated and prevented from spreading.
Onsite OPG system
The OPG (orthopantomogram) system is a type of dental x-ray, however an OPG produces a complete panoramic view of the jaw. The OPG is used to diagnose many conditions such as general tooth issues, cavities, impaction, fractures, dislocation, infections, sinus issues and even tumours.
Digital Xrays (Greatly Reduced Xray Dosages)
Digital x-rays are extremely beneficial as they use significantly lower levels of radiation which means the exposure is lower and they are safer than traditional x-rays. Digital x-rays also allow for immediate digital images on a computer, which means they can be analysed instantly for diagnosis.
Latest Peizon Ultrasonic System
The latest Piezon Master Ultrasonic provides a minimally invasive professional dental clean with reduced sensitivity to the teeth. The Piezon uses ultrasonic scaling, meaning it uses soundwaves to vibrate against teeth and remove calculus and tartar build-up. The system automatically increases power when resistance is felt at the tip and reduces power when resistance at the tip decreases.
Intraoral 3D Scanner
The need for alginate impressions, as at Oracare we use intraoral 3D scanners. The intraoral scanner captures direct optical impressions. Using a light source, the scanner captures images using sensors that processed in scanning software to produce a 3D surface model.
Latest 3D Printer for model fabrication
Oracare uses high-quality 3D printers for the fabrication of models. This helps examine models of the mouth and face by hand. 3D-printed models allow for higher efficiency and accuracy for dentists and technicians. The models also allow for treatment outcomes to be visualised and shown to patients.
Intraoral cameras use tiny digital cameras that can easily and comfortably fit inside the mouth and project an image onto a larger computer screen. This allows dentists to show patients enlarged images of their mouth and individual teeth.
