Accidents Can Happen To Anyone

Dental Emergencies

Get prompt and effective emergency dental care when you need it most.

  • A dental emergency refers to any situation that involves severe pain, trauma, or damage to the teeth or gums, requiring immediate attention. This can involve:

    • severe toothaches

    • abscesses (swollen gums, mouth or face)

    • knocked-out teeth, chipped or broken teeth

    • lost fillings or crowns

    • injuries to the soft tissues of the mouth.

It’s important to note that some dental emergencies can have serious consequences if not treated promptly.

For example, a knocked-out tooth has the best chance of being saved if it’s replaced in its socket within an hour.

That’s why we encourage you to contact us immediately if you believe you’re experiencing a dental emergency.

  • 1. Knocked-out tooth? Place it in milk or back in its socket, and call us ASAP.

    2. Bleeding? Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth and use a cold compress.

    3. Toothache? Rinse with warm water, floss carefully, and take OTC pain relievers if needed.

    4. Lost filling or crown? Use dental cement or sugar-free gum as a temporary fix.

Remember, swift action can save your smile!

  • Emergencies can happen at any time, and when they do, you need immediate, professional dental care.

We prioritise dental emergencies, providing swift, effective treatment to alleviate pain and prevent further complications. Whether it’s a sudden toothache, a broken tooth or a dental injury, we will place you on priority and do our best to offer immediate “same day” for any emergency appointments.
