Embrace A Healthier Smile

ROUTINE EXAM & HYGIENE

A routine check-up and clean is the first step to maintaining a healthy smile; prevention is far more effective at saving you time and money in the long run. Seeing your dentist twice yearly for a check-up and clean is recommended.

Prioritising Your Oral Health

Since the beginning of Dr Doan’s career, it has been a lifelong goal to ensure the optimal health of patients. We offer comprehensive check-ups and hygiene services that are as thorough as they are effective.

Our philosophy is simple: by maintaining a regular dental cleaning routine, we can ensure that your smile remains radiant, healthy, and endearing, ready to last you a lifetime.

What Is Involved in a Check-Up & Clean?

Our check-up and cleaning process is thorough and holistic. We start by examining your teeth, gums, and mouth carefully for any signs of disease or decay. We also check your bite to see how your upper and lower teeth align, which affects your oral health and function. We may use X-rays to find hidden issues like cavities between teeth and below the gum line. We leave no detail unchecked because your health matters to us. We even examine a plaque sample under a microscope to assess the type, activity, and amount of bacteria in your mouth, which helps us identify potential oral health issues.

After the examination, we perform professional cleaning using advanced dental technology. We remove plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing may miss. Our tools, like EMS Airflow and ultrasonic scaling, effectively eliminate stains, bacteria clusters, and deposits from your teeth and gums. Furthermore, our dentists offer personalized advice on improving your oral hygiene at home, ensuring your care extends beyond our clinic. If we find any issues during the examination, such as cavities, gum disease, or early signs of oral cancer, we’ll discuss treatment options and next steps with you.
